At present, some developed countries in the broad sense definition of family education, so to improve the family relationship and family function of education activities, its scope is as follows: (1) parenting education (2) of the child as education (3) the gender education (4) marriage education (5) ethics education (6) family education resources and management (7) other matters of family education.
According to the “four learning societies” proposed by UNESCO, teenagers in the 21st century should have, namely, learning to learn, learning to survive, learning to develop and learning to get along with others.
The relatively popular definition of family education in China is the three ways of education, which was put forward by zhao rain-forest scholar in 2008, namely, the way of living, the way of being, and the way of learning.It is called “3M” for short.That is:
“The way to make a living” takes life and health as the core, and consists of three aspects: physiological health care (health), mental health (happiness), and safety adaptation (safety).
“The way of being” takes the life value as the core, by the life role (this), the personality life (will), the conduct culture (hand in) and so on three big aspects composition;
With life wisdom as the core, “the way of learning” consists of three aspects: learning quality (learning), comprehensive quality (element) and independent expertise (specialty).
